Hike: Claremont Path and John Garber Trail Loop in Claremont Canyon Regional Preserve
Length of hike: 0.6 Miles
A loop trail runs through John Garber Park in the western-most corner of Claremont Canyon (just above the Claremont Hotel). We enter this rustic, heavily wooded, 13-acre City of Oakland park from Claremont Avenue.
It’s a short, but steep walk up The Claremont Ave. Spur Trail to Fireplace Plaza. Plenty of shade and circle of stumps to sit on.
